Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Movie Poster

Transformers the Movies have been advertised as being a serious movie about epic robots coming to America and saving the world from the other epic robots trying to destroy it (The bad robots have been among us all along.) But of course, when you go to to see the actual movies, that epic-ness that was alien robots coming from space, which transform into the cool object we like, immediately leaves your mind. Why? because Micheal Bay is good at directing a few things. Cool sweep by Explosions, Candy shots of wonderfully destroyed scenery, and Patriotic Awareness. Now don’t get me wrong, I think we have a great military and we have been good at keeping the representation alive, but doesn’t the rest of the developed world have military’s to combat the problems too.The destruction of the world seems to call for unilateral engagement wouldn’t one think? It’s not that that bothers me however. Rather it the way he does it. Its the way he does everything in his directorial style.

Lets get one thing straight. Transformers the 1st movie was not a serious scifi epic. Even though the trailer only highlighted the serious themes and told you different, it’s not. Instead of getting that epic first movie, we got cool looking animations, that eventually went on to lubricate on humans, tear up a yard, act stupid at the most insignificant times, and say things like “wretched” and “failed me for the last time…” after being let loose from cryogenic freeze. Not the serious epic most wanted to see, but the Transformers where alive and that’s what we got, so we where OK with it in hopes the silliness of the first movies would be fixed.

Que Transformers the 2nd Movie… You get the serious plot trailer, with the dumb-as-a-post, riddled with holes 2:45 action plot, which of course continues the silliness yet again. This time the silliness is amped up to the 10th level. You get humping dogs, Weeded out mom, Sexually thirsted geeks, ball sack jokes, gay jokes, and oh yeah lets not forget the most racial charged computer creations since Starwars Jar Jar Binks. Seriously, why so serious? This was not what you wanted?

Now we embark on yet another Transformers Movie (the 3rD), that takes note of the push towards the IMAX 3D experience so you can pay more for this not so serious, over-the top-eye-candy-explosions movie about the planet being destroyed this time (seemingly). Once again the advertisement is spot on with trying to make serious of a movie that will be anything but. Only those brave enough to be fool out of even more money this time around will know what new terrible, badly driven joke of a cohesive story the viewer will be subjected to this time. I hear that the creative team took to heart the complaints about the second film and aim to make this one better. Note that three people where credited for writing that second movie. I don’t hold out hope that they added a fourth person for balance between the massive explosions, and the loose nit story structure. I say don’t hold your breath, it’s not going to be epic serious.

My new years resolution was to make a million in cash and if I could achieve it I wanted to donate one-fourth of it to charity. I’m working at that – all be it slowly – but its a resolution I know that is a long term goal life goal (hopefully not very long.)

If you have been following me on my journal and / or my Internet Social Networks you understand that I have been looking to monetize my journal. This is only because I find that trying to sell a product is a tedious task, and even if I have been successful at it in some years, just having one stream of revenue gets you no where these days.

So in this journal entry I would like to share with you some ways I have dealt with monetizing my self and my journal.

1). Neobux

Neobux is a free to sign up PTC site that lets you earn from 0.001 to 0.01 per click. They have a robust system of invest into that allows you to rent referrals, maintain referrals, and gain direct referrals. Each time a referral completes their PTC average you are payed a percentage of their earnings. Many people have reported making lots of money just by maintaining their referrals and investing in to the system. It is not required to invest anything to earn and they pay out instantly upon request, starting at 2.00 and up to 10.00 after the first few payouts (stander members only restricted). I have used it for a while now and actually have received a payment form the site which can be seen here.

2) Adf.ly

Get paid to share your links!

Adf.ly is a free to sign up and use URL shortening service (much like bit.ly) that earns you money each time your link is clicked. They do this by showing a short 5 second advertisement and after the view sees it they can click on a small arrow in the right hand corner of the add to proceed to the links true destination. They payout at $5.00+ every two weeks and they have a earn tier per country’s click. You can earn from referrals for life using this site.

3). Clicxsense

Clixsense is a old free to join PTC site that offers up to 0.02 a click. They pay at 10.00 min, and they have many ways to earn. They use a direct referral system and do not offer a rental system. They have many ways to earn more that a few cents and they offer a Survey for gift cards plan. They offer the cheapest price to upgrade and you can also upgrade your direct referrals and earn more off of the ones that use the service well.

So far this year alone I have made close to 100.00+ dollars using Neobux, Adf.ly, Clicxsense and some of the systems which I will talk about in my next post on the subject. I just started so I’m looking to continue their using them as long as they are available. Hopefully I have help you out on your way to make the internet earn money for you.

The Man Who Broke Batman’s Back (Bane)

So the next two villains in the Dark Knight Rises movie have been revealed as Catwoman and Bane. Although Catwoman is the most exciting and well know choice in the Batman verse, Bane has been shelved as the man who broke the Batman. Little is know about his origin and even less is know about his importance, but if the next Nolan film is just as much of a connection to the brilliant storytelling capabilities of his last two films on the subject, you can rest assured he knows about Bane’s overall important to the story arc his movies created.

First lets begin with the villains in the first Nolan films:

Ra’s al Ghul – the man that trained the the man who would become Batman. Revealed his plans to Destroy Gotham using fear. Tried to destroy Gotham through the use of his contact Scarecrow, and failed. He was supposedly killed when Batman thwarted his plans.

The Scarecrow – Symbol of fear that was to overtake Gotham with the help of Ghul, his fear poison, and a machine stolen form Wane enterprises. Ultimately defeated by Batman, but survived.

The Joker – A figure who rose to power after Batman squeezed the Mob to the point of desperation and fear. He reassured the Mob that he would kill the Batman for a price, and ended up killing the heads of the Draconian families instead in a double cross. He set his sites on turning the city upon itself but was ultimately defeated by Batman. In his defeat, he confesses to Batman that he knew he could not get to him so he instead focused his sites on the viciously maimed Harvey Dent, who was a product of one of his schemes.

Two Face – The Symbol of the white knight who fell form grace and represented the insanity of Gotham’s new direction. Batman gave up his identity as the good guy to salvage the good man Harvey once was. It appeared that Two Face was killed???

So this leaves the last films villains…

Bane – ???

Catwoman – ???

Bane’s Comic / Cartoon History According to Wikipedia:

Bane was born in the fictional Caribbean Republic of Santa Prisca, in a prison called Peña Dura (“Hard Rock”). His father had been a revolutionary and had escaped Santa Prisca’s court system. The corrupt government however decreed that his young son would serve out the man’s life sentence, and thus Bane’s childhood and early adult life are spent in the amoral penitentiary environment.^[3]^[4] Though imprisoned, his natural abilities allow him to develop extraordinary skills within the prison’s walls. He reads as many books as he can get his hands on, builds up his body in the prison’s gym, and learns to fight in the merciless school of prison life. Despite his circumstances, he finds teachers of various sorts during his incarceration, ranging from hardened convicts to an elderly Jesuit priest, under whose tutelage he apparently receives a classical education. Bane murders this priest upon his return to Santa Prisca years later. However, he commits his first murder at the age of eight, stabbing a criminal who wanted to use him to gain information about the prison.^[4] During his years in prison, Bane carries a teddy bear he calls Osito (Spanish for “little bear”), whom he considers his only friend.^[5] It is revealed that Osito has a hole in his back to hold a knife that Bane uses against anyone who bullies him.^[3]^[4]

Bane ultimately establishes himself as the “king” of Peña Duro prison. The prison’s controllers take note and eventually force him to become a test subject for a mysterious drug known as Venom,^[4] which had killed all other subjects. It nearly kills him at first, but he survives and finds the drug vastly increases his physical strength, although he needs to take it every 12 hours (via a system of tubes pumped directly into his brain) or he would suffer debilitating side-effects.^[3]^[4]

Catwoman’s character may be obvious. She many be the gap filler in Bruce Wane’s love interest after the demise of Rachel Dawes, and may be at first a love interest that eventually goes psychotic. She has enough history to tie her to the Batman franchise and even make her a main focus in the film. Whatever the case with her, Bane is more interesting of a choice here.

It’s because Bane does have ties to Ra’s al Ghul… which could mean that Ra’s is not dead after all.

It is stated as one of his story arcs that Bane meets Ra’s and becomes his rightful heir, a position that Bruce was going to hold in the Demise of Gotham. However this was after he broke his back, according to the chronological order of the comic series. It is known that Nolan screenplays have rewritten the characters arc to fit the overall story of the movies, while retaining enough character traits to keep the die-hards interested, but because of Bane’s spotty existence in the Batman verse his character may represent a clean slate with many different possibilities. So although his presents in the next film may not be large, he is still the man who broke the bat. That aspect alone can build the expectation of the last film in this series.
