Wow I though I would never get finished with this one, it was redone at least two times and is a remake of an older picture I did for my senior thesis show in school. The original is not as good as this one as I have grown in considerable skill and style since then. I have had some conflict with the pose and this is why I think it took me so long. It took me a while to get things right when I finally came across reference that suited my taste. It was not long after then when I was able to get the right position of the character. It still took longer than expected do to commission that suddenly came up in the middle of working on this picture. Eventually The picture took a back seat to other things and was left for a while unfinished. Anyway the thinking behind this picture was to convey a sense of uneasy with the design of the catgirl character against the monotone backdrop of an urban city in despair do to the overuse of drugs. The catgirl character IceDeamon is demon like and her body is to show the pleasure mirrored with her outfit against the pain. her weapon a long sword with the symbol of a phallic for its handle is representative of the mixture of pleasure and the pain of its death.
